Terms
Larky is an alarm clock that helps you actually get up. The basic version (FREE) is free, with no time limit and no ads. The PRO plan is paid and adds extra features.
These terms describe how you can use the app and buy the PRO plan. By buying PRO you accept them together with the Google Play terms, through which the payment is made.
1. What the PRO plan includes
The PRO plan unlocks in Larky, among other things:
- the full wake-up check (your own series of checks after you turn the alarm off, missions included),
- alarm escalation (full volume, stronger vibration and the torch when you don't react),
- the “Steps” mission,
- up to five missions per alarm (three in FREE),
- Deep Sleep (bedtime in sleep cycles and an evening reminder),
- 30 and 180-day statistics (7 days in FREE).
The current list of PRO features is always shown in the app, on the PRO screen, before you buy. Features may evolve; we don't take PRO features away during a period you have already paid for.
2. Plans and prices
- Monthly — a subscription that renews every month.
- Yearly — a subscription that renews every year.
- Lifetime — a one-time payment, no renewals.
Prices in your currency are shown in the app and in Google Play before you buy. They include the taxes due in your country.
3. Purchase and payment
You buy the PRO plan in the app through Google Play, with your Google account. Google Play takes and settles the payment under its own terms — we never see or store your card or other payment details.
A purchase belongs to your Google Play account, not to an account in the Larky app. On a new phone, sign in to Google Play with the same account — the app restores your plan by itself. If it doesn't, choose “Restore purchases” (Settings → Your plan).
4. Subscriptions
- A subscription renews automatically for the next period (a month or a year) until you cancel it. Google Play charges for each period at its start.
- You can cancel at any time in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions) or from the app: Settings → Your plan → Manage in Google Play.
- After you cancel, PRO keeps working until the end of the paid period, then the app goes back to FREE. Your alarms and settings stay — PRO features simply stop working until you come back to the plan.
- Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. You need to cancel it in Google Play.
- If Google Play can't take a payment, PRO keeps working for a short time so you can fix your payment method. The app then shows a message in Settings.
- Changing plans (Settings → Your plan → Change plan): from monthly you can move to yearly or lifetime, from yearly to lifetime. When you move to yearly, you pay the full yearly price right away, and Google Play adds the unused days of your monthly plan to the new period. For lifetime with an active subscription, see section 6.
5. Free trial
The yearly plan may start with 7 days free. The trial is available once — to people who haven't had a Larky PRO subscription on that Google account before. Google Play decides who is eligible.
Before you buy, the app shows the date of the first charge. If you cancel before that date, you pay nothing. If you don't, Google Play charges for a year after the trial and the subscription renews like any other.
6. Lifetime plan
You pay once and use the PRO features in Larky with no further payments. “Lifetime” means for as long as the Larky app is made available — we can't honestly promise it will be developed forever. If the app were ever to be withdrawn, we would announce it in the app in advance.
If you have an active subscription and buy the lifetime plan, the subscription won't stop on its own — cancel it in Google Play so you don't pay twice. The app reminds you about this when you buy.
7. Refunds, withdrawal and complaints
- Refund through Google Play — within 48 hours of the purchase you can request a refund directly in Google Play.
- Later — write to us at konderdev@gmail.com. We consider every refund request.
- Consumers have the rights granted by law, including — to the extent provided by law — the right to withdraw from a distance contract. Google Play explains how it applies when you buy digital content. If you want to withdraw, write to us.
- Complaints — if PRO features don't work as we describe them, write to the contact address. We reply within 14 days.
8. The alarm and your phone's settings — important
Larky runs on your phone, and whether the alarm rings depends on the device's settings and state: battery saving and app sleeping, Do Not Disturb, muting, a flat or switched-off phone, system updates and restrictions added by the phone's manufacturer.
We do everything we can to make the alarm ring reliably, and the app tells you which permissions to turn on. We can't, however, guarantee that it will ring under all conditions. For things you must not sleep through (a flight, an exam), set a second alarm too. We are not liable for the consequences of the alarm not ringing because of the phone's settings or state — to the extent permitted by law; this doesn't limit rights a consumer can't be deprived of.
9. Changes to prices and terms
- New prices apply to new purchases. Google Play announces a price increase for an ongoing subscription in advance, under its own rules.
- We will announce significant changes to these terms in the app or on this page. Changes don't worsen the conditions of a period you have already paid for.
10. Final provisions
These terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection given by the laws of the country where you live.
How we handle data is described in the privacy policy.
